Meet Erica – Founder & Visionary of BossFit Studios
Erica is the driving force behind BossFit Studios, a brand built on passion, purpose, and a mission to empower the Chicagoland community through movement. After studying Mat and Reformer Pilates with Balanced Body, she channeled her knowledge into creating the foundation of BossFit — offering energizing group classes and dynamic mobile events designed to bring fitness, confidence, and community together.
Her journey started with a personal commitment to strength and balance, evolving into a vision to create dedicated spaces that not only transform bodies but also give back to the people they serve.
With over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience — including 25 years in orthopedics — Erica brings unmatched expertise, operational excellence, and a dedication to helping others thrive. BossFit is more than a fitness brand; it’s a movement, growing with boss-level energy and unstoppable impact.
Meet Sofia – A Powerhouse of Precision and Energy
Sofia is a certified Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor who takes Mat Pilates to the next level, blending dynamic, strength-focused movement with the precision of Pilates to build strength, control, and confidence.
With a background that includes 15 years as an athlete and dancer, Sofia later became a firefighter. After sustaining an injury that required surgical intervention, she made a career change — channeling her resilience and passion into fitness. That shift led her to become the inspiring trainer she is today.
Sofia was also part of Erica’s personal journey, where her classes challenged her in the best way possible and helped her build strength and confidence. Today, she brings that same impact to every BossFit client, empowering them to push past limits and leave each class feeling unstoppable.
